Monthly Meeting, The regular monthly meeting of the Masterlon Hospital Trustees was held yesterday afternoon, in the Borough Chambers. Present: Messis J. C. Boddington (chairman), G. S. W. HE MEASLES. / A latter ros received from the / Masterton Tkn Clerk to the Secretary with refjrence to the man Solo* Dions,' the Jseyrinn hawker, whose case has beenn-eported in our columns, IThe Chaimrnu explained that as the matter required attention and threw respon ibility on tho Trustees, he had called together the Trustees, and referred to Dr, Hosking for his Dr. Hoskini's reply was read to the meeting, declining to take tho responsibility pf recommending the man's admission to the Hospital on the ground tbat'he was suffering from measles, which Is an infectious disease. Tho Chairman said that on receipt of Dr, Hosking'a letter Messrs Keith, Dalrymple and himself had met, and after consideration had decided to forward the man to the Hospital, and instruct Mr William?, the Custodian, to isolate him in the fever ward, aDil to employ a special attendant, to prevent any danger of the disease bsing communicated to tho other patients, This conrse had been adopted and an extra assistant engaged at 10a per day. Ho had visited the Hospital, find found that matters had been arranged in a thoroughly satisfactory manner. Ho would now ask the meeting to confirm the action of the Trustees. Mr Dalrymple moved and Mr Ferry seconded that the action be confirmed,—Carried, ACCOUNTS. The following accounts were passed for payment :-W,F,C,A., £ll Os 2djH.Beale,l7s; J. Wickens, £2 7s Bd,H. The number of patients in tho in- - stitntion. at tho beginning of the month was eleven, six were admitted during the month, and nine discharged, ' ANNUAL BBPORT. The annual report was read by (he Secretary, and adopted, PBISIWO, Estimates were received from the Haßterton printing establishments, for griming the annual report and list of subscribers.
