The Meat Export Company.

TIMES.] ■ Bib,—l quite agree with you on the point of the co-operative syßtem having been injudiciously applied to the working of the Meat Export Company, and think it is most unfair to those of us who do ml wish to ship any stock, that wo should be made to suffer by getting no dividend, Now that there is a difficulty to face, I suggest to the Directors that it would ho worth their while to take a leaf from the book of the Dalefield Dairy Company, vrith the object of providing some safe guard against all the loss falling on those who provide the share money-money that is, in many cases withdrawn from our businesses, and from which it cannot well be Spared, Those who are fellow shareholders with me in thbDairy Company referred to, will know that this difficulty of those who trade with the Company walking off with all. the profits, was foreseen by Mr Q, A. Fairbrother, Secretary of the Cora 1 pany, when he drew up the scbeino for its establishment, and he provided against it by the creation of a as it were, a guarantee that those who find the money shall be treated in a Mr spirit as well as thoso who find the milk. Those of us who have shnres only, and bavo not sheep to ship would like to have a similar provision extended to us in this Company. I am, etc, Disappointed.
