We have been requested to publish the following correspondence relative lo the Benjamin Oaunon caso. Under these place our columns at the service of ' tho Hospital Committee to clear up a oh&rge which ought never to have been laid at its doors by a journal which was jn a position to readily v verify the truth of it. •: , • . All cases of ulceration, aciite or chronic, aro invaris ably admitted by mo to the Masterton Hospital on application. Any chronio cases are always reforred by me to the there appears to be any doubt as to their fitness for admission, and such cases havo practically without exception been at once. admitted.—l am, doa'r Sir, yours obediently, William H.
