CASTLEPOINT ROAD BOARD.

Ordinary Meeting, A meeting of tlio aboyo Board was hold on Saturday last, Present — Messrs Maunsell (Chi.irman), Langdon, Andrew, Dalziell, and Bellies, The minutes of the previous mooting were read and confirmed, The Treasurer reported balance in Bank £BIB 14s 7a. Letters were read from Treasury re interest duo on loan, From Land Tax Commissioner re subsidy due, From Audit Department with aocount £l6s 8d for audit fee, ' From County Clerk re expenditure of grant on County road and County overseer explanations. From same asking if the Board were propped to vote any money to - wards the Tenui Bridge repairs and enclosing a schedule of estimated expenses for current year. Resolved Thai although the expenditure of grant' on the County road from Tenui to Whakataki is not satisfactory, a cheque be forwarded for payment.
