Tho oxtensive Bale of stock, etc at Mr Burrow's farm, Carterton, was commenced by Mr F. If. Wood yesterday, and was very largely attended, buyers being present from all parts of the district, Wellington, Napier, and Palliate being also well represented, All tha dairy stock was sold readily at prices from £3lss to £lllos, the average being £6. Mr Walton, of Napier, and Mrßeillv, of Wellington, wore the principal buyers, To-day tho sheep, horses, and farming implements are being sold.
