BTODT AND MR FISH. 1 Mr Fish afterwards proposed the ' adjournment of the House, in order to j Bpeak concerning the Fernhill Rail, j way, preferring charges against Sir i Eobert Stout to the effsot that he 1 was the real owner of the line through | being mortgagee, and urging that he I ought not to obtain a preferential ads vantage over other creditors, with the ' assistance of the Government. ! Sir Robert Stout, seconding the , motion, said he thought it better that i this matter should have been brought before the House than it should have 1 been talked about in the lobbies, and insinuations tnado against him behind hia back, as the member for Dunedin . had been doing.
