Only duriug comparatively recent years havo these teas been brought into notice. To Messrs Nelson, Moate and Co. belongs the credit of having been the. introducers of Coylon, and users of Indian teas throughout the colonies thirteen years ago; and undoubtedly their efforts have educated the public taste to prefer the deli-high-qua'ity, strawcolored, fine infusions of their wellknown teas to the strong herby, dark coloured, indigestible common teas now being packed by inexperienced dealers, and pushed on to by means of fancy packets and extra profits, regardless of injury to health. Medical men of the highest standing in England having proved that these Btiong herby teas are ruinous to health tho public must see how necessary it is to buy teas tested by an expert with a responsible name attached to eachpacltot, The Customs roturos prove beyond contradiction that Nelson, Moate and Co.'s One teas are* being appreciated by the majority, for in spite of the numerous firms in every town in tho colonies that are copying thorn, their turnover is as large as ever, and the demand so great that they sell more Indian, Ceylon and blended teas than tho whole of the importers auddcalofs«fc together in any quarter of tbo Colon}?-
