The Alameda brought news from Apia dated 7th instant, stating that fighting bad commenced that morning new Apia blowuen the rival factions of Malietoa's and MalaUfa, Business wss very dull in Apia, being almost suspended on nccount of the war. The Natives are entrenched a few miles from tho town oi Apia. It is believed tha 1 : the long deferred war between tho rival native parties has at last commenced ami th»t the struggle mill be a prolonged one. King Malietoa's party outnumbers the so called rebels by three to one, but it is believed tbat if Makafa wan victorious in the first engagement his forces would be greatly augmented. In consequence Mataafa's forces, like Malietoa's are well supplied with arms and ammunition, The latest types king suppliod them by intriguing foreigners, whohave been fomenting tho war iu S:tmoa, il is believed the crisis lias been in' a large degree brought about by intrigues of white persons, The Natives deckie that they will fight the foreigners if tboy interfere in the war. Two German cruisers are at Samoa, and British and Amerhnn ships are now bound there from Auckland and Honolulu,
