Bayley, Jervis, Gage, Ellison, and Hiron played a great game in the football match between New Zealand and New South Wales on Saturday. Wilson was almost perfect as fullback, his only fault perhaps being in getting too high in the field when Surman made his brilliant run in the sacond spoil, thus being unable to intercept bim, McKenzie and Hiroa played an off-side game. The New Zealandera had 18 free kicks awarded against them, as compared with three given against the local men. The visitors bad vastly improved since the Paramatta match on Wednesday. .
