Yesterday rooming letters wore received by Mr Hoben from Sydney Hnd Brisbane, which give ihe following particulars of matches arranged : —2Bth Juno (ultored by cable last evening to 29th), v, Parramatta District; Ist July, ». New South Wales; 4tb, v. Juniors; 6th v.Northern Brunch Union, at Newcastle; Bth, v. New South Wales. The team id to be tnkou by steamer from Sydney to Briabano and back, Mr Wilkins, Secretary of this Queensland Union, concludes his letter thus:—Yoorteain is a heavy lot, and the full-back 18at 81b (D'Arcy) has quite upset our light three-quarters. At the snme time wo hope to give you a good gamo and do not intend to be boaten by too much, We are Yery plensod to hear that some of your suportera are coming too, and will endeavour to send them away with a good opinion of Queensland footballers, The Sydney Referee thinks that if the toam solootcd to meet the Now Zealand are properly trained they should just about win. The Manager of the Union Com« pany here states that he endeavoured lo arrange to send the N.Z. Football Team by the Wairarapa instead of the Wakatipu, but found it was impossible to alter the running arrangements, as the Wairarapa had been engaged to

doors under look and key, and is comfortably fitted up, but not with distinct beds. The steerage passengers had no access to it, and an extra steward had been engaged. He also points out
that the fares for the team were reduoed by 25 per cent, He also says that the captain's warning regarding valuables is equally applicable to the saloon as the steerage He scouts
the insinuation that the Company had any ide* of interfering with the juccees of the team by involving the members in discomfort, and Bays that if it bad been possible to provide better accommodation they would have done so.
