A Deputation Waits on the Premier. (By Telegraph.—Press Association), WrauMToa, Wednesday, Tho deputation appointed by unemployed waited on the Premior thif morning and urged him to push on with the Northern Trunk Line and other works to provide employment. Mr fieddon said he had never promised, and never would find work for all the unemployed. Tho Government would do their best and if the name: and addresses of men were supplied thoy would be referred to the Labour Bureau to see what could be done. All other things boiug equal, New Zealanders and married mon would have a preference.
