Race 9 Nos. 2, 4 and 6, arc open events, Qualification of a Hunter—A hunter is a horso that has been hunted regularly with any recognised pack of hounds, to the satisfaction of the Master, during the present season (1893), and the kmftilt properly of a member of any recognised Hunt Club. Definition of a Maiden Rider—Any member of a recognised Hunt Club, who has never ridden before in a rnco of any description (hunter races excepted), and who has never won a hunters' race at the time of starting.
