LICENSING.
Alfredton Licensing Committee, The annual meeting of the above Licensing Committee was held at Eketahnnayesterday. Present: Messrs A. Anderson (chairman), Harding, Syvereon, McAnulty, and Saunders, The Police Report showed all the houses to be fairly conducted, and renewals of licenses were granted to all the present holders. No fresh applications came before the Committee. Pahiatua Licensing Committee, The aboye Licensing Committee met on Tuesday, Renewals rvoro granted to the Commercial, Club and Empire Hotels. A temporary license pa granted to the Union Hotel, lately purchased by J, 0. Eastwood, A flew license was granted to Mr A. Milne for a house at Makakahi. The license of the Dudley Arms Hotel, at Mangatainoka, was renewed) The following applications for new licenses ware refußed;—A. Uleghorn, Scarborough; 0, Beuzie, Mangatainolta; J. O'Callaghan, Makari.
