WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.

■■Monthly-Meeting. . The monthly, meeting of the Lam Board was held in tho. Board'a Offioi . yesterday morning. Mrs Bedward attended the meeting ond handed in a contract which shi had let lor the falling of bush on hei land,'seotion 29, Block' 4, Mnngaone thus showing that she was proceeding to improve the land. It was decideo that if the contract was found ir order tho cancellation made by tht Board at a previous meeting should be rescinded, i MrMilchell, one of the selectors o! section G, Block XVI, Mangnhao, asked "the Board, on behalf of hie brother, that tho time during which the latter had been laid up should be takenasresidencoon the land. As Mr Mitchell had, been jincapaciated While improving tho land,- the Board agreed to.tbe request. . _ Considerable time was taken.up in disouSsing an application from 1 Mr S, Dawson, asking that section 32, B I, Mansaone, ■ recontly held by Kirk, should he transferred to thopplicant.
