INQUEST AT MORRISON'S BUSH.

An inquest was held at the Morrison's Bush Hotel yesterday, touohing the death of the man who was found hanging in Mr T. Ward's cowshed on Tuesday last, before Mr T. Hutchison, Distriot Coroner.
The following jury was chosen Messrs J, Hodge, junr, (foreman), J. Mclntyre, J. Beard, S. Poison, W. Thompson, and T, Hodge. Mr T. Ward, farmer, of Morrison's Bush, deposed that at about 8,80 o'clock on the afternoon of Tuesday, he saw a man banging in his cowbail. T. Ward, junr, deposed that ho cut the body down. J. Waite gave ovidence that he last saw the man alive on Tuesday, His attention was called to him by his son who said he appeared mad. P. Poison deposed that he laßt saw the man on Tuesday. He asked for cl otfaos. After he left witness' house he did not seem to know which way to go, He appeared to him to be of unsound mind.
Dr Bey stated that he had examined the body and found the neck dislocated, He should think that tho man was about 45 years of aqe and of the working class.
Constable Ecoleton deposed that he had examined tho man's clothes, and found a letter from Mr Coleman Phillips asking that the man be sent to the Hospital, Nothing was known as to'the man's identity. After fully considering.the evidence the following verdiot was returned—"That the deceased committed suicide while in an unsound state of mind." [We have since been informed that the man is supposed to be one Chas, Peace, late of Ullja'circus.]
