OVERCROWDING VESSELS.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association). Auckland, Friday. A complaint having been made by a number of steerago passengers by the Waihora, of otercrowning tliut part of the ship on the voyage from Sydney, the collector of customs visited the steamer yesterday and found tho complaint to be justified. He is to report tho matter to the Government recommending that the authorities in Australia be warned against allowing vessels to leave in an overcrowded state.
