GREYTOWN CEMETERY. TRUST.
A meeting- of the above Trustees was bold in thu Council Chambers, Groytown, last evening, the following being present:—Messrs F, H. Wood, ,W.F,-Hoydhouse, J, D, Heogerty, and D. Cameron. .The Mayor (Mr F. H, Wood) was voted to the chair, and appointed .Chairman of Trnstoes. ■ Mr Naiion, tbe Secretary, read the minutes of the previous meeting, and tendered his resignation as Secretary and Treasuier, The minutes were confirmed, and Mr Nation's resignation accepted. ■ Mr W. F. Roydhouse was appointed Secretary and Treasurer, . The Chairman moved that a voto of thanks be given to Mr Nation.and a bonus of live guineas as a recognition of services rendered. Seconded dy Mr Cameron and , carried unanimously, Mr Nation reported the balance in hand, £4213s 9d. The verger's account, £5 Is Gd, was passed for payment, • It was resolved, on tba motion of tlio: Chairman seconded by Mr Hcagerty, that Mr W.R. Thompson be appointed verger at a remuneration of 12s for each grayo, with power to issue the permits. Resolved that 25 copies of the Ceme- i tery Trust Loans bo printed. Resolved that four members bo appointed a quorum, andthat meetings] be held quarterly, and that cheques be signed by the Treasurer and countersigned by the Chairman, Resolved that tbe Mayor for the time being be Chairman of the Cemetery Trustees, Mr Nation read a lease which was held by Mr R, A, Wakelin, of 10 acres, the property of the Cemetery Trustees, tho said lease having now oxpired. Resolved that tenders be called for the loaso of ten acres of land, the property of the Cemetery Trustees,
