FEATHERSTON CEMETERY TRUST.
A meeting of the Peatherston Domain Board and Cemetery Trust was held in the Town Board Office, Featherston, on Monday night, there being present—Messrs W. Candy (chairman), G. Beynolds, A. Donald, and J. Baal. The minntesof the previous Domain Board meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer reportpd a balance in band of £9 8s Id, accounts ! amounting to £4 15s lid were passed fcr payment. It was decided that s man be employed for two or three days to put ! tbe place in order. The minutes of the last meeting of the Cemetery Trusteeß were read and confirmed. '
Tho Treasurer reported a credit balance of £23 10s 3d after paying accounts for £1 2s 6d.
It was decided that the blind creek which runs through the Cemetery be filled up to allow the passage of vehicles.
It was also resolved that Mr Donald and tbe custodian, compare the graves with tbe cemetery plans and mark on tbe plans the sections taken np. Mr Beat proposed that the graves in the south-west at the cemetery be reduced in price i"om 60s to 40s, The chairman replied that the sections were nearly all taken up and it would not be fair to those wbo bad paid 60s. —The matter then dropped. It was decided to adjourn the meet' iogto tbe 15th inot., to receive Mr Donald's report on the best method of filling in the hollow before mentioned.
