Benall, , _ MINUTES, The minute? of the last ordinary i meeting wero read and.confirmed, i A REQUEST, [ Mr Godfrey Euase'l wrote asking to [ be allowed to addres3 the Trust with > regard to his lease. I Mr Russell; who was in attendance, i said that Mb expired in July • next, and he was desirous of obtain- ' ing a further Icbbo of a portion of the [ property. The Chairman said they could g.'ant the request at a rent fixed by a proper | assesflor, if the Truateca ma agreeable. Mr Feist moved that Mr Euasell'* request be entertained, before the proporty is otherwise disposed of. Mr Graham seconded and the motion was carried. IHEABORER's HEPORT. The Treasurer (Mr B, Brown), re- [ ported a credit balanoo at date of BEPORTS. Mr S, E. Gapper reportfd having examined the cottagaflin Hall Street, whioh have lately come into the hands of the Trust, and finding certain rr pairs necessary, which he reeommended being done, The cottages were well worth repairing being built of sound totara, Mr Eenall moved that specifications be drawn up and tenders called for the repairs as stated to bo required by Mr Gapper-Mr Graham seoonded : the motion. Jackson asking ' the Trustees not to let tho paddook \ next to tho Main Sohool, as he wisbr J to secure it for a football ground for j the sohoolboys, at a nominal rental. [ At present thero was ro ground avail- , able for them, He would be willing i to give up possession if a permanent l tenant were obtained. Mr Feist proposed that Mr Jackson's ■ request be granted at a nominal rental of 10s per annum. ' The Clerk pointed out that the j rates were £2l2s 6d. ' Mr Feist said he was willing to ] altir his motion to 20 shillings per k annum. c The Chairman said it would be J better to allow Mr Jackson to use tbo ] ground without any permanent right ! ; fornothing, prcrid i ho kept the fences in repair., " Or Feisty said he was willing to withdraw his motion in favour of the Chairman's suggestion. , BESOLUTIONB. ' It was resolved that the annual meeting of the Trust be held on May 15th, at 8 pm.: It was decided to hold over Father MoKenna's application until after the annual meeting, It was decided to allow the Fire Brigade to remove the present building to the new site, subject to the permission of the present lessee, ACCOUNTS. The following acoountß were passed . for payment ;—Kates, £l6 Bs6d; insurance, £\ 15s; I. Wj-Cox, £1 15s; 0, F. Gawith, £1 IST*Tlio balance-sheet was laid before theTriist, and the meeting adjourned.
