SAD FATAL ACCIDENT.

(By Telogrnph.—Press Association),

Wellington, Thursday,

A most distressing accident, which ended fatally, occurred here yesterday. Two young fellows were trotting down to the bout sheds for a morning dip, when some children ran in front of them from behind a vehicle, without any warning. A child of three or four, a Bon of Mr McFarlane, Railway Guard, was knocked down, and to all appearances slightly bruised over the eye, but a few hours afterwards died in the hospital, to which he had to be removed, from concussion of the brain.
