: %lkßochers Strik London, April 24. Hull is in a state of veiled rebellion. The weapons used by the strikers include catapults, bludgeons studded with nails, and iron bars. April 25. Mr C. H. Wilson, M.F., shipowner, of Hull, has informed Mr Mundella, President of the Board of Trade, that' a conference would he useless, Their terms wero known, and tho last word bad been said.
The dockers repudiate the accusation of incendiarism, and blame the non-Unioiiists and soldiers for cau> ling the fire by smoking.

Tho crowd rofused to assist the ■ hluejacksts and firemen in carrying i timber from the edge of the fire, A further detachment of Eoyal i Boots and 150 polico have been drafted to Bull. The bluejackets arrested two mon , for placing a suspicious-looking parcel beneath n Bbcd containing 1000 froo labourers. Mr Sprow, Organising Secretary of the Sailors and Firemen's Union, states that it is intended to wago persistent war against the Shipping Federation throughout the United Kingdom. An attempt to set firo to tho Alexandra Dock at Hull failed.
