FOOTBALL.
[BY DAMOCLES.J A football club has been formed in Fentliereton, and intends to compete for the Junior Cup this season. 1 Jim' McCarty, the 1 rep' three-quarter, is ono of the prime movers in the formation of the Club, and reckons they have excellent material round about Featherslon to make a good junior fifteen. Tho colours will bu black and bluo, Tho following officers were elected nt a meeting held on Saturday laet: -Patron, 0. P. Plmrazyti, Esq,; President, A Matthews, Esq.; VicePresident, C. McShano, Esq.; Committee, MwsPenny, McCarty, Toogood, C. JJurt and Sheen; Match Committee, Messrs McCarty, Sheen and Cooper; Delegates, Messrs. Toogood, Cooper, and McCarthy, Hon, Sec Mr Cooper.
