NATIVE OBSTRUCTION.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association). Auckland, Wednesday. Inspector Hickson, with a force of nine men from the police and Permanent Ariillery; leaves to-night for Whakatane, by steamer in order, to conduct the case for the Government against the TJriwera Maoris, who obstructed the surveyors near Ruatoki. Informations for obstruction havo been laid against a number of Maoris The charges will be heard before Mr BuBu,E,M.
