SUICIDE AT AUCKLAND.

Caahel, a- oleik in the Colonial Mutual Life office, committed suicido on Sunday in Sym onds street, where be roßided with hia mother. He was found by biß brot her, lying in bed with a gaping woun din in his throat. When the deceased was asked what was wrong, ho regilied that he was miserable, and stated, that be had made two previ/ - ' attempts to take hie lifr-' by means of tho second time by puncture bis heart with two bonnet pins. He was taken to the hospital, and died soon • afterwards, Tlhe officials of the Colonial Mutual state that deceased's accounts have been found to be correct. Laieb.
