Mawley, of Ditton. Wangaehu, supplies' us with tho following i notes from his own observations!— Rainfall for 24 hours,registered on tho ' 11th inst.—s*7B inches. Over four ' inches of this amount fell in thirteen hours, This greatly oxceed? all previous records, my obserVtfftjdating from May, 1880. 0-94 mdbes was registered on the 12th inst,, making a total -of G'72 inches for tho two days. Mr Bennett, of Otahiiao, supplies us with the following particulars of thorainfall during tho late storm ;—For tho 24 houra, ending 9 a.m, on Saturday March lith,s'76 inches, This is the heaviest rainfall'ever previously recordod at Otahuao the next heaviest being 3*lß inches on the 11th November 1888, (By Telegraph-Own Correspondent.) Geettown, Monday, No ecrious damage has been sustained here through the late storm, beyond trees and fruit' being blown down,
