Uaweiia, March 9. Our Stratford sale on Friday, tho 3rd inst., showed no diminution in the number of its stock entries, on the contrary they were rather increased. Thero was a very largo number of both cattle and sheep yarded at Hawora on Wednesday, the Bth inst. The cattle consisted of a good number of both fat and forward bullocks also forward cows, and tho sheep entered were mostly composed of large lines of lambs. The great feature of the day was the sale of the Okehu herd of Shorthorns belonging to Mr John Handley, and as tbo salo had been well-advertised a very largo number of persons were thus drawn to the salo. The bidding was keen for all classes of fat stock and fresh conditioned steers, Sheep still remain dull of sale, though we managed to dispose of the bulk of what wo had yarded.
