Waterspouts at Patea.
Houses\Unroofed. (By Telegraph .-j-Press Association},
jPatea, Thursday. Three waterspouts were seen in the offing, about a quarter to eight this j morning. One of them struck the land, hear the south end of the town, and took a north-easterly course, doing considerable damage, unroofing 'tbiee houses andj several sheds. The debris-of one houße being carried a I quarter of a miiu before falling.
