WAIRARAPA FARMERS' COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION, LIMITED.

A meeting of tho Koard of Directors of the above Association was held on Friday, February 24th. It was decided to purchaso the business of Mr W. Sheridan in Carterton on tho Ist of March and also to purchase tho business premises of Mr W. P, Allen, tho lattor to bo appointed the Company's manager in Carterton, temporary premises to be obtained from Mr White Baker, while extensive alterations aro made to the present buildings so as to make them similar to the Greytown premises which will in future be the model of tho Company's branch stores, Applications W3ro received from twenty-seven settlers for 277 shares, which were duly allotted. Keturns of the monthly business at all branches were laid on the table. A substantial increase all round, in tho business done, was shown. The report of the Manager of the Kopouranga Butter Factory was read, stating the machinery to bo working well and the butter turned out to be of excellent quality. In consequence of tho purchaso of tho Carterton business about 200 sottlors residing in that district have applied for sharos, aud therefore the Share List will be open until 30 th of June next,
