IheEgmont farmers' Union, Limited. We had a good sale at Stratford on Friday tie 17th inst. Our bi-monthly Bale at Manutabi which was held on Monday the 20th inst., proved to bo the largest we have ever held there, the entries for which wo mostly composed of sheep, and were so large that our ordinary yards were quite inadequate for penning them, and temporary ones had to be erected, We had everything in our favour as rogards weather, and there was also a fair attendance at tho sale, so that notwithstanding tho fact that sheep were dull of salo we managed to quit more than half tho lines offered : at satisfactory prices. We quote 2i year steers lis. Sheep—2-tooth owes lis 3d to IBs, 4, 0 and full mouth ewes 8s 5d to 8s Gd; shorn lambs 6s.
