RAM FAIR.
About 260 sheep out of 600 were sold at tbo Bam Fair at Woodville on Friday, the sales being effected privately to a largo extant. The Pahiatua Star is assured by farmers who wanted rams that they wore nov satis6ed with 'be quality yarded. The rams were rather an inferior class, and not at all suited to requirements. Had a better class of sheep been entered, the sale would bare been more satisfactory. The following are the results : Abraham and Williams sold as folfows : On account of Mr J. Collins, 2-tooth Lincoln ramß, 2i 16 3f guineas, On account of Mr J. Elliott, i* tooth Eomney rams, 2| guineas, On account of Hon. J, D. Ormond, { and 6-tooth Lincoln rams, 1\ to 1\ guineas, On account of Mr.S. Bolton, 6tooth Eomney rams, 3{ guineas, On account of Mr W. McKeozie, of Masterton, 2-tooth Romney rams, fy to 4} guineas. On account ol Mr W. Busby, aged Lincoln rams, a line of 50,95.
