k (Judge Speaks His Mind, (By Telegraph—Press Association,) Gisborne. Tuesday. At the Supreme Court yesterday, Judge Connolly remarked ibat tbe Grand Jury had made a presentment last year upon the accommodation provided for them and though endorsed by hira no notice had been taken of it, Ho animadverted strongly on the conditions under which tbe work of the Supreme Court had been carried out in Gisborne,
Later on in the day tbe common jury said they could not stand the heat fo the email room, in which thoy were cooped up in, any longer, and the Judge allowed them to go into the back yard, but one of their number was taken so ill that the jury had to be discharged and a fresh one empannelled.
