Rebel and Maribyrnong did two miles at rather hotter than half Bpced. Thamo and Freelance went two miles, goingnicely tho latter tiring towards tho finish, Awarua Boso negotiated two miles at half pace; Clanranald and Kulnino . only cantered; Scot Free ran away from EondinelU in a mile and then was taken for another round by Loch Ness, Jjßkeshell, Persuasion and .Bußybody jumped away together at thew furlongs post, and the former yroobost of the spin, but Porwas evidently pullod off, Gitana and Napior did five furlongs, The pace was rather too fast for Glencairn who started with them. Primo Warden did two miles at a sound pace throughout, having Saracen with him on the second circuit. Changeling and Derby had a spin on the plough. Beadonwoll and Strowaa cantered, and then went five furlongs pretty fast, tho latter pulling over Mercer's colt at the finish.
