J, Cliafl. Harrison, M.D, who has been delivering some very clover lectures before large nudiencea at the Opera bouse in Wellington will iippw at the Theatre here next week. lie has not only the unanimous suppoit of the press there, but there is scarcely a leading paper published in the English language that has not endorsed his work, "Labby," in Truth, who most fearlessly exposes any sort of quackery, has given him tho cackl of his unqualified support and such eminent journalists as Ed miind. Yates, of the World, has also written most favorably of his lectures,' The Loudon Daily Post says:— " Fully 2500 tutu crowded into St. James' Hall last night ou the occasion of the first lecture by J. Chas Harrison, M.D, , . The audience composed many of London's foremost society and literary gentlemen . . The applause was frequent and vigorous, , . The discussion throughout was sound and forcible, exhibiting a thorough knowledge of the subject."

pitals. He is a member of the Insttluto Polytechniquu of Paris, and of the Geographical Society. His first lecture will be to men only, and will he delivered at the
Theatre Royal next Friday night, and it will be freo and elegantly illustrated with stereopticon view*, Dr Harrison has with him one of the most experienced stereopticians in America, and the views are Baid to bo remarkably elegant.
