Installation ofW.M.
The installation ofßro C. A, Pownall as Worshipful Master of Lodsje Mastcrton No. ID, N.Z.C., took place last evening, the Musonic Hall being well filled with visitors and members, including fi.W. and Rov Bro. Meadowcroft, Grand Secretary, Victoria ; R,W, Bro, Fred Meadowcroft, S.W, of the Grand Lodge of Victoria; V.W. Bro Rev T. Porritt, Grand Chaplain; W. Bro N, Grace, ripresentative of the Grand Lodgo of Nevada and W.M. of St Mark's Lodgo, Carterton; Bro Oroxton, of Bute England, and Beveral brethren representing various New Zealand Lodges, Past Musters Bro Rev W, E. Paige and Bro James Aitken acted as Installing Masters. Bro Pownall was placed in ths chair of K.S., according to ancient usage aftor which tho following officers wore invested and addressed by P.M., Bro. J, Aitken S.W., Bro. Joseph Dixon; J.W., Bro. A, E. Copping; Trrasnror, Bro, R, M. Galloway; Sec, J3ro. W. Hellar; S.D., Bro. W. Clement Cargill; J. 0., Bro, Robins; Tyler, Bro, Richards, ThoJ.D, elect was unavoidably absent, After tho business of the evening the Brethron adjourned to the Temperance Hall and sat down to an excellent repast provided by Mr C. Winchester, A very pleasant time was spent several brethren contributing to tho hnrmony of tho cvomcg, the gathering breaking up shortly after midnight,
