Ordinary Meeting.

Tho usual monthly meoting of the Featherston Town Board was held last night, there being present Messrs W, Gundy (chairman), G. Reynolds, A, Donald, W, Hodcler, Jn and J, Beal,

Mr A, Toogooil waited upon tlio Board on behalf of Lho Featherston Cricket Club, and asked that a shelter shed and somo seats be erected in the reserve for the convenience of the public The Chairman considered that the Board had already gone to an extra amount of trouble in connection with cricketers, and as they were out of funds the matter would have to stand oyor.-Mr Tait said ho did not consider this a Cricket Club question, but a matter for tlio consideration of tho householders. A shelter of some sort was necessary, as a Football Club would probably be Btarted next season. More discussion of a minor character took place, when the Chairman said it was no use, and abruptly terminated the meeting.
