[by umpire.] The first match between a combined team of the Oriental and Excelsior clubs and tho second olevea of the Tradesmen was played on the Park Oval yesterday afternoon. Tbo boys proved too good for tlio seniors, and from start to finish were the favorites. Tho Tradesmen went first to the wickets, and Aitkeii.and Smith wore the only two to make' Say stand, making 16 and 14 respectively. The batting of Fleming and Jackson was especially good, both players showing excellent form.
