Lord and Lady Glasgow in the South.
Ciiitisiciiuccn, January 20, Yesterday alicrnoon Lady Glasgow presided at a meeting in Lyttolton, when a branch of the Mothers' Union was formed.
Last evening she presided at a largely'attended meeting in tho Oddfellows' Hall, Cluistcliurcli for a similar purpose, Addresses were given by Lady Glasgow, Mesdames Coniugton, O'Brieu Honre, Miss Torlose, Rev J. O'Brien Howe, Dr Emslie, Messrs 11, C, M. Watson, and W. S. Bean. A large branch was formed, and a committee ol 18 ladies elected.
Tho Governor leaves for the South on Saturday.
