Special Meeting. A special meeting of the Mastcrloa Borough Counoil was held last night, there being prosent: Cm E. Feist (in the chair), Hessey, Mutrie, Yates and Perry, The only bnsineS3 of tho meeting was to oonflrm the following reoola- ' tions;Speoial Order, No 1. Resolved: "Thatitbeingfouudinconvenientthat work should cease on Saturdays as I mentioned in the said section, the ' Masterton Borough Counoil by special order appoint Thursday the day upon . whioh-woinen and persons under the age of eighteen years'shall hare bohV ■ day from one of the clock in the afternoon, under the Factories Act. 1891." • ; - .'. j" Special Order, No. 2.
