Nominations must be in writing, addr«d to the Secretary, at his office, near the Railway Station, Featherston (unless otherwise specified), 2. No nominations or acceptances will bo received after the advertised time of closing under any pretence whatever, and unless accompanied by tho necessary amounts, 3. In all nominations the name, age at the time of entry, pedigree, colour, sex, and previous performances of the horse and clours of rider must be given, (Special attonlion ia called to this rule). 4. A back shall be a horse that has never started for other than hack or hunter racoa, and is not at the time of meeting nominated for other than hack or hunter races, DATES OF NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS AND ACCEPTANCES. Nominations for all events close on Wednesday, December 14th, at 9 p.m. Weights will bo declared for First Day's Handicaps on Thursday, December 29th. Acceptances for First Day's Handicaps close on Friday, December 30th, at 9 p.m. Weights for Second Day's Handicaps excepting New Year Handicap) will be declared at the Empire Hotel, Featherston, at about 8 p m., on Monday, January 2nd, Acceptances for same must be made at same place within one hour after weights are posted, the same night.
