One Man Called Out
(By Telegraph.—Press Association,) Wellington, Thursday, The.dispute between the Trades and Labor Council and Mr'D.'A. Nooney, a master baker carrying on business in Taranaki-street, Wellington, has culminated in the Council calling out the one union man in Nooney's employ. Th 9 Council took objection to Nooney's starting work himself at 2 a,m„ instead of at i a.m. the hour Agreed upon by all master bakors, and state they were urged to take action by employers themselves, and that one of the largest bakery firms in the city went so far.oa to say that unless tbe Conncil interfered they would refuse to recognise the Bakers Union in future, looneydeoia'res' other master' bakers have never com-! plained of the hours he worked' He: pays the men he'employs unionwa'gee, and worka them union time, and thinks that ought to satisfy tbe Council. ■ . .. ; V-'..
