YI7HEREAS the lands mentioned in V V the Bchfdule heretoare required to betaken, under "The Public Works Act, 1882," and its amendments, far a certain work, to wit, the construction of streets in the Borough of Masterton: And wheroas the Borough Council oi Masterton has laid before tho Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and _ also the statutory declaration, required by the said Act and the amendments thereof, Now, thorefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, tho Governor of the Colony of Now Zealand, in oxotciso and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of ovary other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do heioby proclaim and declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purpose above mentioned; and, further, that subject hereto tho said lands shall voat in the Mayor, Councillors, and citizens of the Borough of Masterton on and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, SCHEDULE.
