Annual Statutory meeting,

Tho annual Statutory Meeting of the Maßlerton Borough Council, was held at noon to-day (Wednesday) there being present the Mayor (Mr C. A, Pownall), and Crs Heron, Hessey, Dixon, Foist,Yates, Oullen and E.E. Chamberlain, The'minutes of the ordinary meeting wero read and con6rmed,INSTALLATION OF MAYOR. MrC, A. Pownall (the Mayor elect) took the necessary declaration and said be was glad to again be elected to preside over the Council for the third year, They had always worked amicably together, and at tho ond of the three years there would bo something to look back on in the way of work douo. No one could desiro to havo a hotter sot of Councillors to work with. Ordinary Business,

Cr Dixon moved and Or Horon seconded that tho Library Committee replace the hat pogs, Tho motion was carried,

Nothing further being brought for. ward the Counoil adjourned.
