Bushfelling Accident
By Telegraph.—Ovn Correspondent,
Pauiatua, Tuesday. A mon named Connor, one of the men sent up by the Labour Bureau from Ohristohurchon Thursday last, to foil the bash along the railway lino between Eketahuna and Tutaekara,met with an accident yestorduy afternoon. He was cutting a large tree, ; when a limb fell on him, breaking his leg just above the knee, He is to lie taken to the Mastertoh Hospital to-day.
Tho local Knights of Labour intend holding asocial after the Sports oiw. Boxing Day, when addresses will delivered by Messrs A, W. Hogg. M.H.E tl ana F. Pirani. '
It is expected that proceedings will betaken against some of the Wood-* ville folk for damages in connection with the sensation whioh ocoupied the Supreme Court benches last week.
