Tho unanimous verdict of the audience is that the affair was really good, and that those absent missed a most enjoyable evening, Never before in in Greytown has so strong and hamorOUB a ohoras of vocalists been heard. . Miss Eva Udv presided at the piano in a very satisfactory, manner and Mr E. y. Shearer officiated as oonduotor. The orchestra though it was email, greatly assisted to mako the performance a suocess. The programme was rendered in v such a praiseworthy manner that would be difficult to give an individ* ual criticism, but suffice it to say that all acquitted themselves admirably showing that considerable trouble and time must have been spent by the ' popular and ouergetio secretary (Mr ■ T.
