FIRE AT TRENTHAM.
A Boy Burned toDwth,
Inspector Thompson received a wire yesterday afternoon) informing him that a shop, dwellinghouse and stable, the property ot Mr Frank Paul, had been destroyed by fire at Trentham. The origin of the outbreak is unknown, tyho saddest part of tho affair is that Henry Paul, the four»ye»r-old son of Mr Frank Paul, was burned to death in the flames, his body being subsequently discovered in the ruins of tho stable. How he came there is at present a mystery—in fact, only the barest details of the Bad ocourrenoe are as yet to hand. Mr Paul was in Wellington at the time of the outbreak. The adjoining house, owned and occupied by Wm, Thomas, was also destroyed. An inquest on tho body of the unfortunate child will be held to-day.-N.Z. Times.
