Association held here to consider j the Stock Bill, there was a general ( expression of opinion that all neces- < sary stops should he taken to stamp j out disease wherever it occurs. The i following resolutions were passed ;- (1). That it is desirable that any out- j break of disease he at once stamped i out by the slaugbtor of til diseased animals. (2). That aa this would be ( good for'fee wbolo community, the ( coat of destruction and reasonable compensation for stock destroyed, t should be paid for-out of the Stook 8 Department's revenue. (3), That the minimum penalties should be struck £ out of the Bill, leaving each cuso to be t decided ou its merits, .'■: .'..-' j
