We publish in another column a discussion on a report from the. Gas Committee of the Borough Ootinoil, with certain charges recently preferred against the Manager of the Works. So far, the inquiry is incomplete, and any comment upon it would be at this stage most injudicious, The question at issue seems to be: whether the Manager has been careless in dealing with certain potty accounts, On this point the public 'can await with confidence the dseision of the Council, and we need hardly say that till that decision be given the Manager should not in auy way be prejudged.
