Presentation to Mrs Mueller.
The members of the Wesleyau Church choir entertained Mrs Mueller at a social in the school room, last evening. The Rev. J. Dukes presided, and on behalf of.the choir presented her with a handsomo afternoon teatable as a slight recognition of the services she hus at all tines so cheerfully and ably rendered to the Church. Tho Chairman 'said that in parting with Mrs Mueller they and the musical circles of Mastertou were losing a soprano of considerable merit and it would probably be a long time before her place would bo filled. Ho was, however, satisfied that their loss would bo her gain, for she would have in Wellington a larger scope for tho exeroise of her musical gifts. After Messrs Boagey, 0. Pragnell, Lilly and others had ox. pressed their appreciation of Mrs Muller's services, in a few well chosen words, she feelingly replied, thanking the friends for the unexpected'present. Light refreshments were handed round, and Mrs Muller sang very touchingly 11 Then you'll Bemember Me," after which tho choir joined in singing " Auld Lang Syne."
