I spont thelest part of one winter preparing ground. In tho spring I put in ovor 5,000 cabbages and cauliflowers, but owing to the dry weather and tho blight, I did not raise one fit for use, besides losing other things, so that my work went for nothing, This spring I have been again unfortunate, I have been flooded out with the rivor. Tho water came into uiy house and I had to carry my family out at 10 o'clock at night, up to my waist in water. I lost by that flood
