After the reverend gentleman had concluded his remarks, a pianoforte solo was very nicely played by Misses Ella St. George and G. Flux, for which they were deservedly encoivd. Mr R. Gimt Bang "Tho Waterman," with his usual good style. Ho was also re-called, but did not respond, The next item was a duet between Misses E, Wood and Fabian, which was exceedingly well rendered, and enthusiastically eoeored, The young ladies for a time were apparently a little shy, but eventually went back. Their voices blend well together, and many were the congratulatory remarks passed during their perlor mane. Mr T. J. Baihhone, of Carterton, exhibited the magic lantern, wo of the views creating roars of laughter, while others wen; both' pretty ami instructive to tho young. At the conclusion' of the entertainment Mr Geo. Flux, on behalf of the school committee, thanked those who had so kindly assisted to make the evening enjoyable, and especially Mr lUthboue for coming down from Carterton,
A (linn-forte solo was played by Miss Maud Fuller, with exquisite touch and was heartily applauded,
